SecuSystem has developed the portable ticket reader for customers requiring a “slot” type reader in a rugged plastic case for internal use. After powering on the reader, the ticket being inspected is passed through the slot at the rear of the unit. Positive detection is indicated by a beep and led indicator.
The reader has an internal rechargeable battery allowing for many hours of use before the battery needs recharging. In addition there is the large led display which is visible even in sunlight, on the case to indicate positive SecuSystem ink detection. SecuSystem also provides an optical digital counter indicating the total number of positive detections.
