SecuSystem SC2 Online Quality Control System

 

SecuSystem has developed the ultimate solution for high speed, large volume printing runs using SecuSystem Security Inks.

 

Our system (SC2) was designed to assist quality-control and operations personnel in maintaining consistent SecuSystem printed products. The system can constantly collect and interpret data on-line, guaranteeing reliable detection of the security item.

 

Since the system is on-line, printing irregularities can be quickly identified and corrected, minimizing waste. When a non-standard condition is detected, the control system sends an alarm to the operator and if desired, the system can even stop the printing machine.

The SecuSystem on-line quality control system is comprised of:
  • Industrial grade, data Collection Optical Heads
  • Multiplex Interface Box with Power Supply
  • Personal Computer I/O Card
  • SC2 Operating Software

Industrial Grade Optical Head
 
Up to 3 data collection optical heads can be configured for each side of the printed sheet, for a total of 6 optical heads.

 

Optical head positioning is determined by SecuSystem technical staff, together with the customer during system design and configuration in order to best meet customer printing requirements.

 

Alarm indication is with a LED on the multiplex- box with an additional relay dry-contact is provided for customer use.
