OEM Readers
SecuSystem Ltd. has developed different versions of OEM readers, enabling
our customers to combine SecuSystem technology with existing systems. We
have integrated our readers with products such as ticket readers for
mass-transit systems, magnetic stripe readers and high speed bank check
readers. Additionally SecuSystem can customize it’s security products to
meet customers’ needs, while providing anti-counterfeiting features with
SecuSystem technology.
The OEM reader notifies the customer’s host system with a simple “yes”
(valid) or “no” (invalid) response when detecting the security feature. For
example, a ticket reader that gets a valid response from the integrated OEM
reader will open the turnstile, while an invalid response will prevent the
ticket holder from passing through the turnstile. So counterfeit tickets
will not work in this system.
Several models of OEM readers are currently available, like the compact
SM11 with optical head and control box, or the advanced high speed SM41
reader with fiber-optic cable.
